SotP/Darrow 2 - August

KEVIN PRICE

Chugging along. He's newly 21! And he will officially no longer be an Elder next month. I think he'll be getting an EP in a bar to "celebrate". I know he can't/shouldn't have alcohol, even post mission, but he's had a rough two years, dang it. The boy needs to live a little. BRING HIM YOUR SINGLE LADIES. Except don't do that, he would know what to do. No, that doesn't mean bring him your men.

Also, I think I need to just bite the bullet and do his item/canon update before the end of the year. He's going to burst into song, you guys! Someone needs to sing Arnold's part :(

Darrow 2: Kevin will have an alt. I'm not sure yet just how much I'll do with him, but still wanted to include him. If anyone wants a sociopathic former Mormon, hit me up. Kevin prime might investigate Darrow 2 briefly, but once he realizes the rift doesn't lead home or to his beloved Orlando, he'd probably peace out and wouldn't go back.





HEDWIG

I really don't know what to do with her and it makes me sad. She's definitely not in danger of going anywhere, but yeah. I always say I need to do a canon rewatch (film and Andrew's version) but then I'm just like... but do I really want to cry right now?


Darrow 2: No alt because I can't, but will be exploring Darrow 2.





BRYAN COLLINS

He had a birthday recently, which magnified his anxiety about his perfect life plan of having three kids before he and David turn 40. He'd probably have an easier time of writing if he could concentrate over the sound of his biological clock ticking away.

According to my self-imposed timeline his newest string of Space Hospital episodes have... already aired? I completely forgot? Oops. I assume they were Ryan Murphy levels of okay/problematic and I guess he's focusing on pitching his pilot for his own series, now. And doing everything in his power to ignore the fact that Sawyer has to start school next month. He needs to get back to working more regularly, though. He has a lot of guilt built up over not only getting to spend so much more time with Sawyer than David does, but also having David support him. Logically, of course he knows David would never consider him a burden, but that's not how brains work. He wants to be able to provide more consistently than he has been, especially with the costs related to baby #2.

Darrow 2: Most likely no alt and I'm not sure he's one to explore all that much beyond checking if it's a way home. And he'd have to basically be tethered to David and Sawyer if that happened because he'd be petrified of losing track of one of them. If he did go, I can see the whole experience ending up as inspiration for a writing project somewhere down the line. He should probably meet alt David and I'm sure that won't go horribly. Nope.




ELIJAH KRANTZ

BABY BOY PRINCE WHY DO YOU BREAK MY HEART?

I have a lot of Elijah feels. I love him. He's just so bitter and prickly, but it's almost all defense and he's just a sad, scared little potato inside. Look at him. He is the opposite of intimidating. He just needs a hug. I feel a lot better about playing him and a lot more confident with his voice, now, which is basically a 180 from how I felt the last time I did one of these.

Most of my plans for him are still a ways off. I want to eventually do a joint item/canon update and give him the clothes he bought to impress and then had his heart crushed by Dill in, and the memories to go along with it. Because he's from the season just before that and I'm terrible. His split with Dill is probably the worst thing that's happened to him, but it was the best thing for him at the time. From the looks of new set pics, Dill dumping him lit a fire under his ass and he's going to be getting back into dance in some capacity. Whether it's performing, teaching or just taking a weekly class, idk but it makes me so happy and I for sure want to explore that in Darrow at some point. I just hope he sticks with it.

As for maybe less far off stuff, lots of job hopping. He should also probably find some girlfriends to berate. Elijah doesn't really do male friends. I mean, he does them, that's why he doesn't have any. The men in his life have all either been steady boyfriends, guys he's slept with/wants to sleep with or boyfriends of the four girls... that he sometimes wants to sleep with. I blame 22 years of denying his sexuality, it's like he's making up for lost time. But, yeah, girlfriends! Bonus points if they like cuddling and are good little spoons. With thick skin! He generally has no desire to sleep with those. Anymore. Mostly.

Also, I need to bust out Drunklijah. He's so sad and introspective. Hannah's not here so he needs a drunken dance partner.

tl;dr PLAY WITH HIM

Darrow 2: He'll also have an alt and Elijah prime will be getting arrested for something dumb. I'm not sure what I'm doing with Alt-lijah other than he most definitely needs to meet alt David. He's cute and nice and will sing songs for you. Love him? :D
